Scopes digital production projects to ensure they meet business needs while staying within budget. Being a Producer - Web manages projects, schedules resources, and coordinates scope changes to ensure on-time completion of projects. Oversees development teams that may include outside vendors and offers technical guidance as needed. Additionally, Producer - Web provides quality assurance for completed websites and ensures websites are properly integrated with current systems and software. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a manager. The Producer - Web occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
