Job Summary

The Sr Video and Multimedia Producer oversees and implements all aspects of the CareOregon family of brands as represented through video and multimedia content. This position is responsible for pre-production, videography, editing, and post-production of video projects as well as live stream video events and other forms of broadcast media content. This position also works closely with the Art Director to develop and update brand standards across all video and multimedia projects.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead video and multimedia projects through the creative process including creative brief, pre-production, videography and audio recording, editing and post-production, client review, file delivery and web publishing.

• Serve as a liaison across departments and partner organizations to consult on the best video and multimedia storytelling practices, lead projects to completion, and deliver compelling content to meet stakeholder needs.
• Produce livestream web broadcasts for internal and external clients, managing pre-production, directing talent, operating camera, producing video feeds, and coordinating post-production for web publishing.
• Define, document, and maintain brand standards for all video and multimedia productions.
• Research and maintain best practices for video and multimedia production.
• Document CareOregon video and multimedia production processes.
• Select and oversee video and multimedia related vendors and contractors to maintain brand standards.
• Manage all details of video and multimedia projects using Workfront project management software.
• Continuously train on, track, and maintain an inventory of video and multimedia related tools, software, and equipment (e.g., cameras, audio, lighting, etc.).
• Upgrade the inventory of media production software and equipment as necessary.
• Maintain file archives and backups.

Experience and/or Education

Required

• Minimum 5 years' experience producing both promotional and educational video content
• Minimum 2 years' experience producing livestream internet broadcast content

Preferred

• Healthcare knowledge and familiarity and/or experience with electronic Personal Health Information (ePHI) and HIPPA-compliant practices

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Knowledge

• Thorough knowledge of media production techniques, practices, principles, and methodology for the effective development and creation of audiovisual productions
• Knowledge of and ability to use a wide variety of equipment needed for the creation and editing of media productions including computers (both Windows and Mac OS), video cameras, microphones and other audio recording and live sound production devices, video projectors, media players/recorders, televisions, video editing software, and other related tools
• Knowledge of and ability to use livestream software and tools including hardware video switchers, Open Broadcast Software, MS Teams Live Events or similar livestream tools

Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Teams

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including Premier Pro, Media Encoder and Photoshop
• Ability to interact effectively with and provide superior customer service to a wide range of internal clients, management, external vendors and partners
• Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as process descriptions and methodologies, procedure manuals and design specifications
• Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups
• Ability to learn, focus, understand, and evaluate information and determine appropriate actions
• Ability to accept direction and feedback, as well as tolerate and manage stress

• Ability to stand, walk, crouch, crawl, reach, bend, lift, carry, push, pull and/or pinch small objects, see, read, hear, speak clearly and perform repetitive finger and wrist movement for at least 6 hours/day

• Ability to climb stairs for at least 1-3 hours/day
