    JOB PURPOSE:

    Responsible for assisting in a manage direction of warehouse operations to ensure timely receipt of materials and delivery of company product.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Responsible for directing and supervising a group of warehouse employees; assigning tasks as necessary to ensure proper usage of available resources.
    • Responsible for reading pick tickets and/or requisitions to select and assemble product for customer orders.
    • Moving materials and customer orders from the warehouse to designated storage or holding areas.
    • Assist with product shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and check-in of merchandise.
    • Sorting merchandise in the appropriate racks or shelving according to product code.
    • Responsible for maintaining a warehouse that is accessible and safe for company personnel and LFF visitors.
    • Communicate/collaborate effectively and professionally with co-workers and customers, both internal and external.
    • Perform at a high level so you can lead by example.
    • Responsible to implement established food safety practices throughout all warehouse employees
    • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • High school diploma or GED preferred
    • Must be a self-directed individual with the ability to read and interpret company documents, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
    • Must have the ability to perform basic math calculations.
    • 3  years of management experience is preferred.
    • Must be able to work in a fast paced and rapidly growing distribution environment.
    • Obtain licensure to operate warehouse equipment within the first 30 days.
    • Individual is required to stand and walk for extended periods.
    • Individual is also required to push/pull, lift/carry, or exert force of up to 75 lbs. or more.
    • May be necessary for this individual to reach above the shoulder, kneel, crawl, bend or stoop frequently.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $70,00 - $80,000 per year
