Description

 We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to supervise, track, and evaluate day-to-day collections and payments. Accounting Manager responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information. The person must be a team player, supporting dynamic interaction with the finance department and reporting to the Controller.

 Responsibilities

As directed by the Controller, to include the following: 

• month and end-year process period closing procedures.
• accounts payable/receivable
• cash receipts
• general ledger
• payroll and utilities
• revenue variance analysis
• ACH/check runs
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Meet financial accounting objectives.
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions 

Requirements

 Proven working experience in accounting related to working with budgets, payments, receipts, vendor interactions, reporting, and being a team player.

• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping      and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• BS degree in Accounting or Finance
