Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Produce Clerk to join our team. As a Produce Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting customers, stocking and organizing produce, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the department. If you have excellent customer service skills and a passion for fresh produce, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Load and unload produce deliveries

- Stock and rotate produce items on shelves and displays

- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the produce department

- Package and label produce items for sale

- Assist customers in selecting high-quality produce items

- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns

- Operate a pallet jack to move pallets of produce as needed

- Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a warehouse or stockroom setting preferred

- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching

- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is a plus

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude

- Excellent customer service skills

- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately

- must be 18 or older

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
