Handles produce items in a safe manner and ensures that the department is always clean and neat. Additionally, Produce Clerk may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Produce Clerk may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Purpose:
The produce associate ensures that the produce department operates at the standards set by the Lingle Company. These include, but are not limited to: product knowledge, cold chain / quality assurance, food prep / food safety and sanitation, and managing a sense of customer service.
