What would your responsibilities be?

• Conduct daily shift meetings.
• Attend and participate in facility safety and management meetings.
• Follow and ensure company safety polices and safe work practices.
• Oversee direct reports to ensure shift goals and quality expectations are consistently achieved.
• Responsible for coordinating personnel to ensure effectiveness.
• Coach personnel to understand and comply with SPS policies and procedures.
• Works in a cooperative, productive, safe, team-oriented manner with all individuals
• Review and develop recommendations to facility manager to promote continual improvement of all.

What are the physical and work requirements you will need?

• Time will be split between office, warehouse and yard
• Must have the ability to work a flexible shift including weekends and holidays
• Fast-paced and moderately stressful constantly changing work environment
• Ability to stand and be mobile for up to eight hours per shift
• Ability to lift up to 51 pounds
• Operate company vehicles, operate overhead cranes, and forklifts etc.

You must have the following to be considered:

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid driver’s license
• Proven experience in a warehouse environment
• Detail-oriented and excellent observational skills
• Strong computer skills
• Proven experience operating material handling equipment

If you have the following, that is even better:

• Three or more years of warehouse experience
• Supervisory experience either as a Supervisor or a Lead person
• Ability to plan and execute short and long-term goals
• Experience in continuous improvement and/or quality management

• You will be paid $22.00-$28.00 an hour DOE.

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
