Processing Equipment Operations Supervisor supervises employees who operate assigned stations along a processing line. Responsible for monitoring processes and identifying and correcting any error as it occurs throughout the processing procedure. Being a Processing Equipment Operations Supervisor ensures adherence to all specified procedures and regulations. Typically requires an associate degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Processing Equipment Operations Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members.     Job Summary:

    As a Processing Supervisor, you would be responsible for efficient operations within our egg processing plant by supervising staff and organizing/monitoring daily workflow.

    Essential Duties:

    • Lead a team of employees that routinely meet or exceed performance goals.
    • Responsible for the organization of daily plant operations.
    • Fulfilling all customer orders efficiently with the highest quality eggs.
    • Accurately recording egg and packaging inventories.
    • Ensuring compliance with USDA and Food Safety requirements for all product and personnel.
    • Completing all required documentation, paperwork, and record keeping.
    • Ensuring that all safety guidelines are being followed.

    Qualifications:

    • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, or closely related discipline from an accredited 4 year college or university or equivalent work experience. Required: High School Diploma or GED.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence effectively.
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
    • Competent in the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Outlook, Excel)
    • Ability to work irregular hours including nights and weekends.
    • Ability to work in various climate conditions including extreme heat and cold environments, walking, standing and sitting for long periods of time.
    • Previous HACCP/SQF experience preferred.
    • Technical knowledge of Biosecurity and Food Safety
    • Experience dealing with regulatory agencies (i.e., USDA)
    • Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
    • Mechanical and or maintenance experience

    Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000
