Position Summary
The Supervisor of Central Service is responsible for assisting in the direction and overall operations of the Sterile Processing Department (CSSD). The Supervisor ensures all medical equipment/instruments, O.R., hospital wide are cleaned, sterilized, and assembled following regulatory and hospital standards. She/he maintains high levels of service and quality. This position is responsible for staff supervision and development, quality of sterile processing work performed, and maintaining effective inter-departmental relations within the department.Requirements
