    Your Role:

    We are currently seeking a meticulous and motivated Operations Manager to join our team in New Orleans (Elmwood), LA. In this multifaceted role, you will be instrumental in various aspects of our operations, serving as a key liaison with clients via phone, email, and occasional face-to-face interactions. Responsibilities will include inventory management, order packaging, and shipment coordination. The ideal candidate will exhibit a positive demeanor, possess exceptional organizational skills, demonstrate professionalism, and uphold strict confidentiality standards. Strong written and verbal communication abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook, prior experience in project coordination, and the capacity to foster productive relationships across multiple teams and departments are essential qualifications for this role.

    Responsibilities:

    • Answer incoming emails and phone calls in a professional and timely manner.
    • Provide formal quotes to buyers and ensure accuracy in all communication.
    • Prepare and send purchase orders and invoices to vendors/customers, maintaining thorough records.
    • Track shipments for incoming/outgoing orders daily and update the database accordingly.
    • Load and unload trucks, and package orders as needed.
    • Maintain and update inventory records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
    • Streamline office procedures and assist with the transition to a paperless platform.
    • Maintain an extremely clean, orderly, and safe workspace for all staff.
    • Provide professional and efficient administrative support to our project managers.
    • Prepare and edit reports, presentations, and compile data for analysis as required.
    • Coordinate between support, office, and field staff to ensure smooth operations.
    • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
    • Perform various office management tasks as needed.
    • Establish and/or maintain systems related to filing, time reporting, and training hours.
    • Support the full implementation of company practices, policies, and procedures.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or relevant experience preferred.
    • Proficient in the use of common office software, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
    • Attention to detail and strong time management skills are essential.
    • Punctuality is a must; candidates must consistently arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients.
    • Proven written, typing, and verbal communication skills.
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with no major infractions.
    • Must be able to pass a drug screening and participate in monthly drug testing as required.
    • Ability to drive a forklift or willingness to learn how to operate one.
    • Must be able to lift 40 pounds.

    Ideally, You Will Also Have

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or related field.
    • 5 plus years of increasingly responsible administrative support experience, preferably in a similar industry or environment.
    • Advanced or specialized training in administrative support is highly desirable.
    • Proven self-starter with a proactive approach to tasks and the ability to plan, prioritize, and organize workload effectively.
    • Demonstrated organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
    • Proven high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and strong customer service skills.
    • Ability to travel locally to perform all the required duties of the role, as necessary.
    • Experience driving a forklift or willingness to learn would be a significant advantage.
