Process Engineering Technician provides technical support to engineers to ensure production goals of the organization are met. Provides assistance related to the review of existing and design of new manufacturing equipment, processes, and plants. Being a Process Engineering Technician may suggest or implement equipment purchases, modifications or calibration changes that could result in improved productivity or reduced costs related to production. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Process Engineering Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Process Engineering Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. About your role:
This is a hands-on, full-time position with day-to-day duties that include completing well defined process engineering tasks. You will collaborate with project team(s) to complete deliverables as assigned by the project manager or project engineer, in alignment with the project schedule, budget, and scope of work.

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering required. |
In addition to all essential duties listed above, this role has an opportunity for interfacing with vendors, as well as addressing deliverable issues and concerns with the team and proposing solutions. This position is active in proposal writing and will build engineering hours budgets. This role will be able to work independently and seek out guidance when required and without prompting, as well as provide QA/QC on most department deliverables and most inter-departmental checks. This position should have competent job knowledge and the ability to adapt to changes in the work environment. |

In addition to all essential duties listed above, this role will occasionally lead department meetings and assist with on-the-job training, as well as perform QA/QC on all department specific deliverables. This role should drive project schedules and discuss deadlines with the team proactively, understand discipline specific budgets and address any issues or concerns and propose solutions. This position will assist others in understanding calculations, design guidelines and industry standards by sharing industry knowledge and providing mentoring to others via redlines and QA/QC comments on deliverables. They will also perform project management duties for small or single discipline projects, interface with clients as needed, complete invoicing and write proposals. This position will work independently and seek out guidance when required and without prompting and will drive deliverables to completion. |
