Process Engineering Technician provides technical support to engineers to ensure production goals of the organization are met. Provides assistance related to the review of existing and design of new manufacturing equipment, processes, and plants. Being a Process Engineering Technician may suggest or implement equipment purchases, modifications or calibration changes that could result in improved productivity or reduced costs related to production. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Process Engineering Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Process Engineering Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.     Responsibilities:
    • Design of municipal civil and environmental engineering projects using AutoCAD and relevant modeling software technology.
    • Perform and document engineering calculations.
    • Assist in the preparation of technical specification materials.
    • Support staff by completing design details and construction plan sets.
    • Complete field observation, inspection, survey, and data collection duties.
    • Assist in the preparation of engineering and construction cost estimates.
    • Maintain accuracy and quality in work.
    • The position requires a self-motivated, talented, dependable, detail-oriented, dedicated Engineer Technician who is able to multitask in a casual office environment that promotes both personal and professional development. 
    Qualifications:
    • AAS degree in civil technologies preferred.
    • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Practiced in AutoCAD Civil 3D and associated tools.
    • Competent in Windows Operation System, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Ability to work and communicate successfully in a team environment.
    • Quality and accuracy shall be maintained in all work.
    • All other tasks required to provide excellent service to clients.
    • Helping to ensure the success and growth of the company.
    • Integrity and ability to exercise good judgement.
