Process Engineering Technician provides technical support to engineers to ensure production goals of the organization are met. Provides assistance related to the review of existing and design of new manufacturing equipment, processes, and plants. Being a Process Engineering Technician may suggest or implement equipment purchases, modifications or calibration changes that could result in improved productivity or reduced costs related to production. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Process Engineering Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Process Engineering Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. GENERAL SUMMARY: Coordinates interdisciplinary engineering functions, performs technical liaison with Delphinus staff, customers, and technical authorities as tasked, and supports repair and installation teams as needed to resolve technical issues. Oversees efficient and timely accomplishment of engineering tasks and functions. Experience with commercial/shipboard fire detection systems, design, and testing requirements is important for this position.
