Process Engineering Director jobs in South Dakota
Process Engineering Director directs and develops a team responsible for the optimization, design, and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment, or plants. Drives continuous improvement in process design, cost savings, quality, and resource utilization. Being a Process Engineering Director leads engineering projects, incorporates newest technologies, resolves engineering problems, approves process designs. Requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Additionally, Process Engineering Director typically reports to top management. The Process Engineering Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Process Engineering Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Summary: Director of Engineering sought with a minimum of ten years' experience in structural design, project management and parametric modeling.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of related experience.
Proficiency in Structural Design, Project Management, Parametric Modeling (Creo), FEA (Mechanica or Ansys), Microsoft AX, Microsoft Office, Data Acquisition, PLC Programming.
Bachelors degree in Engineering-Mechanical Designation preferred.
Competency in employing 2D and 3D Computer Aided Drafting software.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification required.
Willingness to travel to plants
Job Responsibilities:
Directing engineering processes and teams for optimum efficiency and productivity.
Implementing and overseeing project management initiatives.
Utilizing drafting software to create 2D and 3D structural designs.
Conducting data acquisition and PLC programming tasks as necessary.
Travelling to various plant locations for oversight and project implementation.
Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
