Process Engineering Director directs and develops a team responsible for the optimization, design, and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment, or plants. Drives continuous improvement in process design, cost savings, quality, and resource utilization. Being a Process Engineering Director leads engineering projects, incorporates newest technologies, resolves engineering problems, approves process designs. Requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Additionally, Process Engineering Director typically reports to top management. The Process Engineering Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Clerical responsibility for serving civil and criminal subpoenas for municipal court or at the request of defendants. Work is performed under the general direction of a Great Falls Police Support Services Captain or Lieutenant.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is divided between an office environment and traveling in a city vehicle to serve subpoenas and other required business related paperwork.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, reach, ride and perform similar body movements. Must have the ability to perform light physical work and to lift and carry up to 15 pounds at a time; the possession of hand/eye coordination sufficient to operate a personal computer, office equipment and a motor vehicle; the ability to talk and hear in person or by telephone; and the ability to see and read instructions and reports.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
The work schedule is a 40-hour work week, Sunday through Saturday. This position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime. Overtime must be approved in advance. Normal work hours are Monday through Friday.
TRAVEL
Travel is primarily local during the business day. Occasional travel may be required to attend off-site training and educational opportunities.
