Process Engineer develops and optimizes continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization. Collects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes. Being a Process Engineer identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve. Recommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials. Additionally, Process Engineer requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Process Engineer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. To be a Process Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.     We are looking for a tech-savvy Inside Sales Representatives to assist Wise Industries and Industrial Belting & Transmission with the selling of mechanical power transmission products and technological products or services. The Inside Sales Representative's responsibilities include maintaining extensive knowledge of the products' parts, functions, and processes and assisting to close sales where technical expertise may be required to fit the clients' needs. Travel between Industrial Belting & Transmission and Wise Industries (Georgetown, KY) will be required as needed. A company vehicle will be provided for commuting. 

    General Purpose

    To be successful as a sales inside sales representative, you should possess an in-depth knowledge of our company's technical products and services and you should be able to relate this knowledge in a way that is understandable to non-technical customers. You should be driven to achieve your sales goals and should have excellent sales and customer service skills. You will go through a thorough 90-day training program to ensure that you have the tools and knowledge needed to be successful. 

    Inside Sales Representative Responsibilities:

    • Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain our company's products or services to customers.
    • Discussing equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineers.
    • Travel between Wise and IBT (you will have an office in both locations) 
    • Assist in deliveries of rollers, rotator tables, conveyer sides, cartridges, etc.. 
    • Collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
    • Generating high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries.
    • Researching, developing, and modifying products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs.
    • Helping customers who have problems with installed products and recommending improved or upgraded materials and machinery.
    • Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.
    • Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management.
    • Setting and achieving sales goals and quotas.
    • Training other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services.
    • Participate within a “Team” culture, from initial design-to start-up, working with Sales, manufacturing, and installation team by providing “unique out-of-the-box designs”.
    • Travel includes customer site visits, project kick-offs, weekly update meetings on-site, installation support and engineering support as required

     

     

    Inside Sales Requirements:

    • Experience in sales and the technology field.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
    • The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
    • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
    • Good leadership and team working skills.
    • Willingness to continue your sales and engineering education.

    Preferred

    • Requirements include, strong understanding of engineering principals, structural design, drive sizing, use of test and measurement tools and chain pull analysis
    • High proficiencies in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and mastery of professional writing skills
