Collects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes. Being a Process Engineer identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve. Recommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials. Additionally, Process Engineer requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Position Purpose:
Responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring processing plans and process improvements for and relating to incineration and providing assistance to plant operations personnel to include troubleshooting incinerator units and all support units. Responsible for working proficiently with all support departments to expedite processing of feed stock. Interact with appropriate governmental regulatory agencies and insure compliance in environmental, health and safety issues and requirements at the federal, state and local regulatory levels. At the direction of immediate supervisor, interfaces with customers and regulators during facility audits, inspections, etc.
