Collects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes. Being a Process Engineer identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve. Recommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials. Additionally, Process Engineer requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Initiates and leads process improvements. 25. Tracks improvement through use of Hoshin, Kaizen and other approved methodologies. 26. Ensures maintenance of asset SOP's and work instructions.27. Through leveraged knowledge of current technology and market trends, participates in the definition of advanced products required to sustain a cost effective competitive position. 28. Partners with Product Development and Sales29. Support the effective implementation of investment projects approved for capacity or facility expansion and upgrades.30.
