Process Engineer develops and optimizes continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization. Collects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes. Being a Process Engineer identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve. Recommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials. Additionally, Process Engineer requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Process Engineer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. To be a Process Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.     Ø Lead process audits and Plant Efficiency Reviews
    Ø Engineering Management of Change (EMOC) review. Act as expert authority for Process Engineering discipline.
    Ø Process engineering in support of region lead projects – heat and material balances, pressure balances, process specification for valves and equipment. P&ID mark ups and review.
    Ø Participate in HAZOPs and P&ID Reviews
    Ø Identify efficiency and throughput improvement opportunities and engineer solutions.
    Ø Work closely with commercial and project teams to support business development using existing assets.
    Ø Support continuous improvement within the operations support department, e.g., updating technical plant documentation, development of design standards, engineering tools, IMSS chapters, etc.
     
     
     
    QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
    v Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
    v Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering/process design or related field.
    v Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
