Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mid-Level Process Engineer to join our team in the defense sector robotics. The ideal candidate will have exprience in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Lean Manufacturing principles, and a proven track record in process optimization within the defense industry.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement efficient and effective manufacturing processes by Lean Six Sigma principles.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction through data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline production processes and enhance overall operational performance.

Lead and facilitate lean manufacturing projects, ensuring timely completion and achievement of project objectives.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address process inefficiencies and quality issues.

Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing operations, including troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions, to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Mentor and train junior engineers and production staff on Lean Six Sigma methodologies and best practices.

Stay current with industry trends and advancements in lean manufacturing and defense technologies, and integrate relevant innovations into process improvement initiatives.

Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance in all aspects of process engineering activities.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably within the defense industry.

Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, with a Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive data-driven decision-making.

Experience with process simulation and modeling software

Familiarity with defense industry standards and regulations (e.g., ITAR, MIL-STD), is preferred.

Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance as required for defense-related projects.
