Collects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes. Being a Process Engineer identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve. Recommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials. Additionally, Process Engineer requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. We are looking for a Process Engineer to help us address various issues related to process, equipment, materials, quality, and EHS. As a Trex Process Engineer, you will be looked to as an innovator in the manufacturing process and expected to develop and maintain operating parameters, provide technical support to production teams, coordinate equipment repair and replacement, and manage die repair and development. This role is a key member of our Engineering team.

EXPERIENCE
We are looking for leaders with a bachelor’s degree in engineering along with 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment managing manufacturing processes and procedures. Plastic processing and/or extrusion experience is preferred. We want to hear from you if you have previous experience as an Industrial or Manufacturing Engineer.
