Being a Process Engineer identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve. Recommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials. Additionally, Process Engineer requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. PURPOSE:
Delivers process support and serves as a technical resource in complex process development, troubleshooting, process optimization, and scaling up initiatives responsible to manage and maintain the ITAM technology tools focused on Opentext Universal Discovery (UD) process and Configuration management System (CMS (formerly Universal Configuration Management Database (uCMDB)). This includes system documentation and training initiatives. Additional tools used to manage the IT inventory are Flexera Technopdia Data Platform and Opentext Servie Management Automation X (SMAX formerly Micro Focus) software. . Creates baseline process maps, identifies inefficiencies, and re-designs and re-imagines the process to deliver superior customer experiences.

Position does not have direct reports but is expected to assist in guiding and mentoring less experienced staff. May lead a team of matrixed resources.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Experience: 5 years relevant process engineering experience or demonstrated ability to perform the functions at the level required.

Salary Range: $78,840 - $156,585
