Position Summary:
The Human Resources Manager manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office as well as the development and administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. The HR Manager carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, records retention, employee relations, training and development, benefits, recruiting and safety. The Human Resources Manager originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide a high performance, employee-oriented culture that emphasizes quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. The Human Resources Manager coordinates implementation of services, policies, and programs; reports to the Chief Financial Officer, and assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues.

This job is performed indoors in a temperature and humidity controlled environment. Job tasks are performed in close proximity to other people and, when entering the adjacent manufacturing plant, include exposure to strobe lights, sounds and noise levels that are distracting. The employee is occasionally required to stand, stoop, walk and bend. The employee must frequently sit, talk, listen, and lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
