Job Title: Registered Nurse (Med Surge) - Night Shift

Location: Colton, CA

Hourly Rate: $68/hr. on W2

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Med Surge unit for the night shift. As a Registered Nurse in our facility, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients admitted to the Medical Surgical unit.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing patients' conditions and implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any significant changes to the medical team.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educating patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and medications.
• Maintaining accurate and complete patient records.
• Adhering to hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines.
• Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical surgical setting preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Positive attitude and a commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
