Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Real Estate Manager to oversee and manage our real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in LIHTC, Section 8, and other affordable housing programs. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the real estate portfolio, including leasing, tenant relations, and property maintenance
- Negotiate and execute lease agreements with tenants
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including LIHTC and Section 8 requirements
- Oversee the application process for affordable housing programs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date tenant files and records
- Perform data entry and maintain databases related to the real estate portfolio
- Coordinate with legal counsel on real estate transactions and contract negotiations
- Provide administrative support to the real estate team, including scheduling appointments, preparing documents, and answering phone calls
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate management or related field
- Strong knowledge of LIHTC, Section 8, and other affordable housing programs
- Experience in negotiating contracts and lease agreements
- Proficient in data entry and file management
- Familiarity with real estate administrative processes
- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures is a plus
- Sales experience is beneficial
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
