We are looking for a Director of Engineering in Reality Labs (RL) Trust Privacy who can support the Privacy Infra and Privacy Foundation teams to ensure people using RL products feel as safe connecting in the Metaverse as they do in real life. The RL Trust teams are accountable for helping all RL products become competitively differentiated on the basis of Privacy, Security, Integrity, Equity, and Accessibility. Our team helps define the path and success (using maturity frameworks and strategies) on what “Strong Trust” looks like across all RL teams. In 2023, we take a big step towards this vision by ensuring regulatory compliance for major global privacy legislation; supporting Meta Accounts for all RL products; enabling Purpose Limitation-backed privacy commitments; getting Security protections to “Basic” across the 4 most important product lines for RL; determining how our team can best support Integrity, Equity, and Accessibility.
