Printer jobs in Vermont
Printer completes print production jobs on various types of printing press machines, including digital, flexographic, web, screen, or others. Reviews job specifications and complete setup tasks, including filling ink, calibrating machine, and loading stock. Being a Printer conducts visual inspection of samples prior to running job. Performs in-process quality inspections utilizing standard testing protocols. Additionally, Printer completes all required production logs and documentation. Interprets equipment diagnostics, troubleshoots breakdowns, and makes necessary adjustments to complete the job. Performs regular maintenance, cleaning, and changeovers of press from one job to another. Maintains a clean and safe workspace. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Printer works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Your day-to-day as a Printer :
- Work in the Print Shop producing required forms and documentation
- Receive and process customer orders
- Operate shop equipment to fulfill orders
- Provide customers with product order status, and information regarding the Print Shop processes.
Your skills and experience :
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows software
- An excellent communicator, both verbal and written
- Proven strength in accuracy, especially in high volume settings
