Job Details
The Artwork coordinator position will include but not be limited to:
New Project Launches: Work with engineering, operations, printed component suppliers, and customers to ensure that artwork is produced to meet each customer's specific needs.
Develop timelines and workflows to execute projects.
Coordinate component priorities with procurement.
Oversee project data acquisition and entry.
Responsible for responding to customer requests for information
Expedite activities and resolve issues as they arise to facilitate the execution of projects
Gather necessary information required to prepare artwork for both external customer/printer and internal department review and approval.
Generate revisions to artwork and documentation as needed to comply with regulatory and customer graphic changes.
Maintain relationships with suppliers to plan, develop, and execute projects as needed.
Create and maintain documentation as required by procedures and guidelines.
Seek /evaluate opportunities to improve processes to eliminate inefficiency and redundancy, streamline tasks and make effective use of resources, and optimize activities to reduce complexity.
Collect performance metric data and report to management via monthly KPI meetings.
Work very closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that all timelines are met and act as the conduit for communication for the NPD team: Sales/Client Services, R&D, Manufacturing, Planning, Purchasing, Package Engineering, and Quality departments.
Printing and packaging suppliers to maintain artwork and documentation and communicate status updates on project timelines.
Customers and their agencies need to meet their packaging needs and manage artwork development.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Must have experience in industrial or consumer packaging.
Product Launch or Launch Readiness: 2 years (Recommended)
Project Manager or Project Management: 2 years (Recommended)
Food or Nutraceutical/Pharmaceutical or Medical device or Biopharmaceutical: 2 years (Recommended)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Ability to communicate with customers, management, and coworkers.
Knowledge of printing technologies
SAP knowledge
Adobe Illustrator
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills
Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
