Mood Designer Fabrics is seeking a Textile Product Copywriter to join our team in the online department. As part of the copywriting team, you’ll work in a creative, collaborative environment to create compelling product descriptions and work on a variety of team projects. The ideal candidate has a background in writing, as well as experience in sewing or working with fabrics (home sewing counts!). This is an on-site, entry level position based in our Lodi, NJ office.
Primary responsibilities:
-Identify information regarding fabrics including fibers, weaves, patterns, and prints
-Write textile product descriptions to include the above-identified information clearly and effectively for public consumption and understanding
-Complete Pantone color identification for fabrics and select related products of similar or identical Pantone colors
-Work with other copywriting and marketing team members to advance evolving team projects and priorities
Requirements
- Ability to write clearly and effectively in English
- Education or experience working with fabrics or sewing
- Detail oriented
- Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets)
- SEO Knowledge a plus
