Printed Circuits Corp. is seeking a skilled Selective Soldering Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining selective soldering equipment to produce high-quality printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Responsibilities:
- Setting up and operating selective soldering equipment, including machines, nozzles, and fixturing
- Loading and unloading PCBs onto the selective soldering equipment
- Conducting routine maintenance on selective soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Inspecting and testing finished PCB assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards
- Troubleshooting and resolving selective soldering equipment and process issues
- Documenting production data, such as cycle times and process parameters
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and resolve production issues
- Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistent, high-quality production
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in selective soldering production and process control
- Familiarity with selective soldering equipment, including machines, nozzles, and fixturing
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards for electronics assembly
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, process flow diagrams, and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
