Printed Circuit Board Designer jobs in Danbury, CT

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop complex electronic designs for Navy and commercial applications using CAD software or manual systems.
• Utilize Cadence design software, particularly Allegro toolset, to design PCB products.
• Create electrical schematic diagrams using Allegro Design Entry CIS or CAD.
• Design PCB layouts for analog, digital, power, and high-speed applications using Allegro PCB Editor.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, and Design Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Generate fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, bills of material, and specifications adhering to ASME standards.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with design standards and quality parameters.
• Uphold Company policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and technical support to junior drafters, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Contribute to team objectives in a cooperative and supportive manner.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of experience in mechanical design.
• Proficiency in Cadence Allegro PCB design software.
• Knowledge of commonly used design concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Familiarity with IPC standards, ASME Y14.100, ASME 14.5M, and MIL-STD-100.
