The Deputy Circuit provides support services to Circuit Clerk’s Office. Provides assistance to Circuit Court, Prosecutors, Attorneys, and the general public with information for criminal, civil, and circuit court cases. Responsible for files and numerous documents/pleadings to ensure the legality of all supporting and required documents. These documents include, but are not limited to, financial statements, deeds and mortgages, pleadings, various court orders, appeals, transcript judgments, divorce records, child support documents, powers of attorney, etc. Responsible for collection and receipting of child support payments and filing fees. General office duties such as filing, cash register operation, ledger entry and typing are required. In addition, the incumbent prepares various reports; maintains filing, indexing, and prepares Docket sheets for new cases.
