Job Title: Print Production Team Member

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Print Production Team member to join our team. As a Print Production Team Member, you will be responsible for managing print production tasks, interacting with customers, answering phones, and ensuring that all printed materials meet our high-quality standards and are delivered on time. This role requires a strong understanding of print production techniques, excellent customer service, and quality control processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Printing Equipment: Operate various printing machines such as laser-jet printers, ink printers, and large-format printers to produce high-quality printed materials.
• Prepress Preparation: Prepare files for printing, including ensuring correct image sizing, color profiling, and ensuring proper bleed settings.
• Order Processing: Receive and process print orders, including reviewing specifications, selecting appropriate materials, and scheduling production to meet customer deadlines.
• Quality Control: Conduct quality checks throughout the printing process to ensure accuracy, color consistency, and adherence to specifications.
• Production Scheduling: Work with the production team to prioritize print jobs, manage deadlines, and ensure timely delivery of finished products.
• Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in person, over the phone, and via email to discuss their printing needs, provide quotes, answer questions, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the printing process.
• Finishing Techniques: Apply finishing techniques to printed materials, such as laminating, binding, trimming, and hemming, to enhance the final appearance and durability of the products.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in print production operations preferred (but not required), including operating printing equipment and performing quality checks.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and team members.
• Proficiency in computer software and digital file formats, with experience in prepress preparation and print production workflows.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards and meeting customer deadlines.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of printing materials, finishing techniques, and industry best practices
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials, such as paper stock, adhesive vinyl, and printing supplies, as needed for production tasks (65 lbs)
