The ideal candidate must have excellent computer skills and a keen eye for detail. Prior commercial print-house and/or high volume mailroom experience is highly recommended. Proficient knowledge of Excel is mandatory. Successful time management is vital. Position involves lifting 25 lbs daily.

Print Production Specialist Job Summary:

The Print and Mail Operations Support staff will directly assist the print/bulk mail managers and use mail handling machines to address, seal, stamp, fold, stuff, and affix postage to outgoing mail or packages. Duties may also include keeping necessary records and completed forms.

Duties/Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for successfully processing print jobs specifications. The goal of the position is to enhance the overall pre-production workflow through skills, technology and innovation while maintaining a high level of quality. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Determines prepress requirements by thoroughly reviewing job tickets; analyzing press needs, content, and specifications.
• Coordinate production of printed materials, or print-related services for the company's agents.
• Assess, plan and coordinate major aspects of projects/production on their own and in conjunction with production leadership.
• Maintain quality management by reviewing and verifying all work before it leaves the bulk mail center.
• Provide and/or develop unique solutions to agent concerns, process improvement, invoice reconciliation, proof of deliveries, etc.
• Maintain responsibility for the completion of jobs in an accurate, quality and timely manner.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

• Thorough understanding of U.S. postal regulations
• Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize work
• Experience with printing software, bindery, mail specifications, and various mail machinery preferred
• Knowledge of Adobe and Fiery Command Workstation preferred
• Understanding of manufacturing planning aspects of print projects
• At least two years of related experience, or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience to provide necessary knowledge and abilities

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry, and move items weighing 25 pounds

Job Type: Full-time
