JOB TITLE: Production Manager
JOB SUMMARY
This role is responsible for overseeing all efforts on the production floor. This position works with multiple departments and will involve extensive collaboration with management to ensure production and sales goals are met.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years’ experience in a production management role
- 5 years’ experience with production machine operation
- 5 years’ experience with project management
- 3 years’ experience of management/leadership experience with industrial finishes
- Bachelor’s degree in business, organizational management, or similar field is preferred

CORE DUTIES
- Manage and direct all production teams (QC, anodizing, sandblasting, cerakoting and powder coating)
- Communicate production schedules and daily tasks to all departments, including QC
- Oversee quality control based on production needs
- Handle all scheduling conflicts
- Oversee and communicate employee scheduling to all departments/leads
- Evaluate machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
- Oversee all inventoried material and supplies for all departments, including equipment maintenance supplies
- Verify material and supply inventory is prepped for scheduled daily processes
- Develop workflow policies and write procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality
- Schedule and lead production meetings
- Coordinate and schedule vendors and internal R&M team for machine repairs
- Ensure compliance and safety guidelines are followed
- Play a key role in the professional development of team leads; work along-side human resources to create and maintain an operating culture that encourages professional development overall
- Communicate job expectations and provide feedback while motivating and providing guidance to production staff
HOURS
- 1st shift position
- Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., OT as needed
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
