Approves print production priorities and schedules, print specifications, and budgets. Graphic Designer/Print Person Full time (Tampa)
Criteria for the Position:
Must have illustrator knowledge at least 1 year.
Must be able to organize and plan the printing each day.
Must be able to communicate amongst team members and management
Must be able to manage 5 printers daily and maintenance on the printers daily.
Must be able to work 40 hours Monday-Friday in our building in Tampa, FL
Print Technician Duties
· Setting all printers up for daily printing
· Making sure humidity and environment is good to print
· Alignment, and media comp and daily maintenance performed on the printers
· Illustrator knowledge to fix files, Spelling mistakes or wrong name or numbers.
· Linearization all printers monthly to maintain color efficiency
· Printing of all items and orders sent from a designer
· Images can be rendered in the program to check for accuracy and matching of the design mock.
· Keeping a daily print log of all items printed
· Keeping a log of all mistakes
· Keeping the printers loaded and running daily
· Once jobs are complete, manifest the roll of printed items with mocks and type of material for back production room.
· Keeping logs for each printer maintenance with dates and duties performed
· Must be organized and have an attention to detail to help catch and prevent mistakes.
· Good communication with Designers and production team
