Job Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Operations Manager the Production Control Technician, is responsible for collecting, editing, and submitting maintenance data. Involved in planning, coordination, and scheduling of the maintenance workflow between various repair shops to ensure timely completion of repairs on supported equipment.
Assists the Civil Engineering (CE) Operations Manager in establishing production schedules based on known requirements and other liaison services as required.
Maintains, receives, edits, and processes work requests and files.
Provides information relative to progress and completion of work orders.
Participate in and assists in preparation of maintenance reports and statistical performance data, when required.
Experience work in Government Computer Systems (ACES/IWIMMS, NEXGEN TRIRIGA, MAXIMO) to provide managers real time data input and information.
Provides information relative to progress and completion of work.
Confers with department supervisors to define progress of work, provide information on changes.
Advises on scheduling and priority control.
Ability to effectively respond to inquiries or complaints both verbally and in writing.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
1 year(s)of experience with Production Control.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Must be able to obtain and maintain successful NACI background for Common Access Card (CAC).
Require Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office computer applications.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is required.
