Print Production Coordinator jobs in the United States
Print Production Coordinator initiates requests for competitive bids and negotiates with vendors and suppliers to perform print jobs for direct mail, seasonal promotions, sales collateral, and other printed media. Prepares estimates and cost analysis reports for internal budget approval. Being a Print Production Coordinator coordinates and prioritizes print production schedules and print specifications. Reviews all artwork and copy prior to delivery to printers for accuracy and formats. Additionally, Print Production Coordinator reviews and approves mock-ups and proofs, performs final quality assurance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Print Production Coordinator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Provides support to the sales team including estimation, order entry, client communications, material procurement and logistics.
PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:- Provide support to the sales team including estimation, order entry, client communications, material procurement, logistics, etc
- Ensures orders are entered in a timely manner to meet deadlines
- Communicates with customers in a prompt, professional, and positive manner
- Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and production team
- Ensures clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner
- Tracks the progress and quality of work being performed
- Maintains accurate records of accounts, quotes, projects, contacts and all correspondences
- Maintains specifications and inspect each docket to ensure satisfactory quality
- Reports feedback from customers to the sales team
- Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
- Assists in training and cross training other employees, if needed
- Performs other duties as needed
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:- Education - High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years customer service experience preferred
- Previous sign or print industry experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math skills, including the use of decimals and fractions, using a ruler
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to work well under pressure to output high volume, high quality work
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work well under deadlines
- Must be a self motivated, team player
- Must have strong attention to detail
JOB TYPE: Full-TimeHOURS: 8:00-5:00, M-F
