Print Production Coordinator initiates requests for competitive bids and negotiates with vendors and suppliers to perform print jobs for direct mail, seasonal promotions, sales collateral, and other printed media. Prepares estimates and cost analysis reports for internal budget approval. Being a Print Production Coordinator coordinates and prioritizes print production schedules and print specifications. Reviews all artwork and copy prior to delivery to printers for accuracy and formats. Additionally, Print Production Coordinator reviews and approves mock-ups and proofs, performs final quality assurance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Meriwether's Production Coordinator is responsible for the sourcing and ordering of Meriwether products as well as overseeing current inventory levels and future forecasting needs. Meriwether designs and sells over 400 unique items that are sourced both within the US and overseas. We sell our line to over 2,000 retailers across the US and Canada.
Our Production Coordinator also assists in the sourcing of new products and suppliers when new designs are produced in-house. This includes requesting samples, coordinating price strategies, overseeing the approval process and verifying that prospective suppliers can handle high-volume orders.
Candidate must have great organizational skills and be spreadsheet savvy. Previous experience would be great but we'll train the right person.
