Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Solidworks software, have expertise in CNC and 3D printing machine set up and operation, and be able to read and understand blueprints. You will work closely with our Design Engineers to accurately produce custom cranial implants. Attention to detail, adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, and effective communication are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Program, set up and operate CNC and 3D printing machines to manufacture custom implants and models.
Collaborate with Design Engineers to ensure accurate implant production
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Maintain detailed documentation throughout the manufacturing process
Strictly follow written SOPs and quality control procedures
Work within a regulated environment to meet safety and compliance standards
Occasionally work late hours during emergency situations.
Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
Other work as assigned by your manager or other team members. We are a small team and everyone pitches in to get the job done, including menial tasks like taking out the trash, cleaning, packaging and whatever it takes to serve our customers.
Qualifications:
Advanced Manufacturing Certificate with a minimum of one year of experience in a CNC environment.
Instrumentation and Gauging skills required. Must be familiar with machinist tools and hand tools (micrometers, verniers, indicators, scales, bore gage).
CAM experience required. Rhinocam experience preferred.
Proficiency in SolidWorks or similiar CAD software. Must be willing to learn and assist with CAD work.
Materialize experience is preferred.
3D printing experience is a plus
ISO 13485 and medical device experience is preferred.
Must be skilled at problem solving, thinking outside the box, and embrace change and innovation.
Must be open to coaching and training with a willingness to learn.
Detail oriented with excellent time management abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills
Position requires some physical effort, typical for a manufacturing environment
Position may require occasional evening or weekend work
