Print Production Coordinator initiates requests for competitive bids and negotiates with vendors and suppliers to perform print jobs for direct mail, seasonal promotions, sales collateral, and other printed media. Prepares estimates and cost analysis reports for internal budget approval. Being a Print Production Coordinator coordinates and prioritizes print production schedules and print specifications. Reviews all artwork and copy prior to delivery to printers for accuracy and formats. Additionally, Print Production Coordinator reviews and approves mock-ups and proofs, performs final quality assurance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Print Production Coordinator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     CTG is seeking to fill a Document Prep/Scanner opening for our client in Montgomery, AL.

     

    Location: Montgomery, AL

    Duration: Ongoing contract

    Job Type: Hourly Consultant

     

    Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, M-F

     

    Pay: $17/hr

     

    Scanning/Imaging. For this position we prep documents for scanning and scan those documents into digital images.

     

    Need to be able to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk.

     

     

    Skills:

    • Able to demonstrate Computer Skills
    • Functional knowledge of PC (keyboard functions, mouse, etc.)
    • Able to demonstrate Intermediate use of: MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Web, Internet, and Intranet-Move data between Word and Excel
    • Able to demonstrate ability to use / locate devices (drives, files, printers) attached to network
    • Able to demonstrate ability to send and receive emails, find, open and save documents and files, perform data entry
    • Able to demonstrate ability to use internet explorer for web browsing, send documents to preconfigured printer
    • Able to demonstrate basic math skills (division, multiplication, percentages)
    • Able to demonstrate business maturity and professionalism- Workers acting as first responders require basic use of MS Office, sufficient to maintain reporting in Excel; web access knowledge and Internet skills, plus proficiency in PC connectivity to printers as well as printer configuration (setting default parameters)

     

    Experience:

    • Experience in a Customer Service environment (minimum 1 year)
    • Doc prep and scanning

     

    Education:

    • Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Required: Post high school technology training or experience

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
