Press Operator Assistant - All Widths completes print production jobs on various types of printing press machines, including digital, flexographic, web, screen, or others. Reviews job specifications and complete setup tasks, including filling ink, calibrating machine, and loading stock. Being a Press Operator Assistant - All Widths conducts visual inspection of samples prior to running job. Performs in-process quality inspections utilizing standard testing protocols. Additionally, Press Operator Assistant - All Widths completes all required production logs and documentation. Interprets equipment diagnostics, troubleshoots breakdowns, and makes necessary adjustments to complete the job. Performs regular maintenance, cleaning, and changeovers of press from one job to another. Maintains a clean and safe workspace. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Press Operator Assistant - All Widths works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Punch Press Operator Essential Duties, but not inclusive:
??? Excellent punctuality and attendance are expected
??? Be able to Set-up punch press. Pancake Dies, some Progressive Dies
??? Set each job up based on Routing Report instructions and Job engineering drawings
??? Utilize assigned tooling to complete each job.
??? Pull tooling and prepare setup for jobs.
??? Operate Punch Press
??? Ability to read Routing Report instructions and carry out directions as necessary
??? Work in an efficient and timely manner, multitasking where necessary
??? Able to work with minimum supervision
??? We are a fast paced job shop
Skills/Qualifications:
??? Blue print reading and Good penmanship are a MUST ??? Computer literate is a plus.
Tools required: Micrometers, Calipers, other
Experience: Verifiable with minimum of two-years experience with the above qualifications
Shift: M-F 7:00 AM ??? 3:30 PM
Pay Range: D.O.E
Start Date: ASAP after meeting all pre-employment requirements
