Join an internationally recognized designer, manufacturer and marketer of resistive foil technology, sensors and sensor-based systems as an Assembler at VPG’s location in Wendell, NC. The Assembler will perform fabrication functions in the production of devices. They will also support policies & procedures to promote continuous improvement to the quality of the product.

This is a temp to hire position.

Responsibilities:

• Solder components together using microscopes and small hand tools
• Work with chemicals and solutions during the manufacturing process
• Operate and maintain machine/equipment and perform housekeeping tasks for machine/equipment
• Follow SOPs and verbal instructions

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of production/manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods of the day
• Prior experience soldering and working under a microscope
• Ability to read, understand, and follow all forms of procedures, processes and related documentation for producing high quality products.
• Good penmanship, basic math skills, and/or good hand/eye coordination
• Computer literate; some Excel knowledge preferred
