Precision Grinder operates precision grinding machines to assemble products and product parts to established blueprint and engineering specifications. Selects, mounts, attaches and calibrates a variety of attachments and grinding machines for grinding angles, contours, lines, and spheres on to surfaces. Being a Precision Grinder requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Precision Grinder works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. This individual will build and lead the AgriVision Equipment Group and PrairieLand Partners (AVE-PLP, LLC) Performance Upgrade Team to success by providing upgrade sales opportunities to customers and employees, creating marketing and return on investment opportunities, and pro-actively implementing solutions that improve customer experience and satisfaction. The Precision Upgrade Manager will work closely with internal and external resources to anticipate customer and market needs in order to identify upgrade opportunities to address those needs.
