Precision Grinder operates precision grinding machines to assemble products and product parts to established blueprint and engineering specifications. Selects, mounts, attaches and calibrates a variety of attachments and grinding machines for grinding angles, contours, lines, and spheres on to surfaces. Being a Precision Grinder requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Precision Grinder works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. The Grinder Operator will be responsible for working with a team to operate grinding equipment and supporting the continuous flow of the coffee in the Westrock Collins plant. The individual will own and manage all processes associated with grinding coffee including production paperwork and schedule. This position will report to the Supervisor of Roasting and Grinding.
