Precision Grinder operates precision grinding machines to assemble products and product parts to established blueprint and engineering specifications. Selects, mounts, attaches and calibrates a variety of attachments and grinding machines for grinding angles, contours, lines, and spheres on to surfaces. Being a Precision Grinder requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Precision Grinder works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Grinder Operator is responsible for all aspects of ground meat production including;
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this position is comfortable on their feet for long hours and able to lift to 75 lbs. over their shoulders on a regular basis. Employees should be comfortable reading and interpreting written instructions in English. Employees should be able to read and record data including lot numbers and temperatures. Employees should be able to effectively communicate with other employees and execute verbal directions. Seeking long-term employees who want to establish a career within the industry.
