Scope:   Operate all Presses efficiently to ensure a high quality finished product

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety and Housekeeping
• Monitoring the press operations
• Be familiar with each press and be prepared for alterations in running characteristics before a major breakdown occurs.
• Thread up Materials
• Record Material being used
• Visually recognize defective stamped cups.
• Constantly inspect cups for defects and measuring using GO/NO/GO gauges
• Barrel Labeling
• Scrap Handling
• Complete production papers
• Locates and stages coils of metal at the stamping press according to the production schedule.
• Moves full pallets of stamped cups from the press and completes bar code scan process on each barrel.
• Monitoring and mixing emulsion as needed
• Ensure safe work procedures are practiced
• Keep machines and work area clean; comply with all safety regulations.
• All other duties assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or G.E.D desired
• Must be able to operate standard forklift or be able to be trained on lift
• Must have basic math skills and be colorific
• Must be able to multi-task and work effectively in a fast paced environment
• Ability to bend and stoop frequently
• Must be able to work in safe manner and follow safety rules
