Selects, mounts, attaches and calibrates a variety of attachments and grinding machines for grinding angles, contours, lines, and spheres on to surfaces. Being a Precision Grinder requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Precision Grinder works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Job Description: Clean metal on Product
Job Responsibilities:
Must have good, related knowledge of all material cleanup preparation for Welding Department and Laser Department.
Perform material preparation doing metal finishing and/or wire brushing using cleaner on piece parts and/or fenders.
Perform other general work duties as needed.
Ensure all Quality requirements are met.
Ensure all products are cosmetically appropriate per customer requirements.
Make Supervisor and/or Plant Manager aware of safety issues and concerns.
Perform general housekeeping duties as directed.
Perform duties as directed by Supervisor and/or Plant Manager.
Dispose of scrap material as directed. Authorization to scrap material must be approved by Supervisor.
Make Supervisor and/or Plant Manager aware of any non-conformance in product.
Job Comprehension Requirements:
