Precision Assembler performs precision assembling, aligning, or adjusting within very tight tolerances. Follows schematics and specification documents to complete measuring, fitting, wiring, and soldering of components to assemble units. Being a Precision Assembler calibrates and tests subcomponents and finished products to ensure quality and functionality. Inspects produced parts for quality assurance, identifies defects and makes adjustments. Additionally, Precision Assembler uses standard hand and power tools, and precision measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, and dial calipers. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Precision Assembler works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Summary
This position s responsible for assembling and performing quality inspections on various products either on final assembly table, or at spot-weld machines. Must operate using principles of self-balancing flow manufacturing and meet Bobrick
/Gamco’s standards of safety, product quality, productivity and policies. The individual needs to constantly upgrade their job skills in keeping with changing technology. Employee is also responsible for working with the department leadsperson with performing assignments and meeting the goal and objectives as directed by the
Department Supervisor.
