Powerhouse Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Powerhouse Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Rosboro Is seeking to fill a Powerhouse Operator position. Ideal candidate will have experience with hog fueled fired boilers. The position duties will include starting up and shutting down boilers, monitoring boiler operations, adjusting controls to maintain proper operating conditions, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations for 3 boilers. It includes 12-hour shifts on a rotating weekly basis: 3 days on, 4 days off, then 4 days on, 3 days off. Completion of training will require passing an in-house boiler operator certification.
